    MELBOURNE IS SO LUCKY TO HAVE GREEN SPACES LIKE THIS
    Carlton Gardens is large patch of park in the middle of bustling Fitzroy. Within it are the Royal Exhibition Building and the Melbourne Museum.. both well worth visiting.
    There is a great kids playground, a recently restored grand fountain and a some awesome fig trees. Bordered on two sides by Victoria and Nicholson Streets - both of which are tram routes and its just a short walk from Parliament train station, so its very accessible by public transport.
    Its an open park and has good walking paths and good access for wheelchairs. Lots of seats in the park to sit and relax.

    This magnificent, well manicured garden is the right setting for the annual international garden show indeed! Well decorated by the historical Royal Exhibition Building and the state of the art museum at the back, I like to belief this whole Northern green pocket of Melbourne contributes to Melbourne being the most liveable city in the world 7 times in a row!!

    Please keep it up Melbourne! I think it should be mandatory for all housing estates and developments to be adopting the same line! Healthy park and garden, healthy people!
